About Eman

Dr. Eman Yasin combines academic thinking with practical delivery, and she has built a career in both worlds. She is a learning and development, technology, and program management professional with more than two decades of experience across higher education, professional training, digital transformation, and workforce development.

As an Assistant Professor in Information Technology and Management Information Systems, she led curriculum and quality-improvement initiatives and helped shape learning outcomes, assessments, and academic programs. Outside the classroom, she has designed and delivered more than 50 professional development programs in leadership, project management, AI adoption, digital skills, and behavioural learning, much of it in digital transformation and employee upskilling. Her work with AI goes beyond teaching. She works with AI systems in applied settings, helping organizations adopt and govern their use. She also brings AI into organizations through change management, most recently as a senior AI/ML technical program manager.

Eman holds a PhD in Business, an MSc in Data Science, an MSc in IT Management, and the PMP® certification, and she completed the Certificate in Project Management for Technical Professionals at Toronto Metropolitan University. She is also the author of The Manual for Letting Go (2021), a practical guide to breaking unwanted habits. She works in both English and Arabic.

Based in Mississauga, Ontario, Eman volunteers as Program Manager for RenoMe Group. Having rebuilt her own career in Canada, she now focuses on AI literacy, digital confidence, and helping newcomers and internationally trained professionals translate their experience into real opportunities in the Canadian workplace. That rebuild moved from survival mode to growth mode, and the turning point was the moment she could use her skills again. Helping others reach that moment is the work she does here.
